Foundation
Snaitech Foundation, an ETS Philanthropic Entity, was founded in 2013 with the aim of translating our values and our vision into concrete actions where people and the territories where we operate are at the centre. Through the universal language of sport, the Foundation cultivates a dialogue that unites generations with the intention of breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for social growth. Each Foundation initiative is part of a vast mosaic designed to support those in need and promote inclusion. Joining the Sport for Inclusion Network in 2024 further strengthens this commitment, allowing us to amplify our message and create synergies with partners who share our vision. At the heart of each activity is the contribution of Snaitech colleagues who, with their enthusiasm through corporate volunteering initiatives, create a virtuous circle of solidarity and participation. Growing together means taking care, every day, of the future we share.
The Snaitech Foundation is registered with RUNTS, Registro Unico Nazionale del Terzo Settore. The Foundation’s main priority is to operate in an ethical and responsible manner, protecting the interests of all stakeholders. This commitment is made possible by a solid and well-structured governance system, which includes a Board of Directors, a Statute and an Organisation, Management and Control Model.

Stories of people
With the intention of translating our approach to social responsibility into concrete actions, we undertook a journey in search of partners who shared our vision and projects that would help us shape and give effectiveness to the energies of our volunteers. This is, to date, the result of our journey and we have no intention of stopping it.

Play together
Over the years, we have supported several national and international initiatives with Special Olympics Italia, including, in 2018, the Opening Ceremony of the XXXIV National Summer Games, hosted at the Snai Sesana Racecourse in Montecatini Terme. More than 130 colleagues took part in the ‘My Special Days’ corporate volunteering initiative. Special Olympics is a global movement, which has been active for over 50 years, and through unified sport and more than 30 sports disciplines, promotes inclusion and respect for the person, regardless of their ability or disability.
Growing with sport
Through the requalification of spaces, such as the football pitch of the Buon Pastore Community in Milan, access to sports activities, and the corporate volunteering project ‘UNISCITI al VOLOntariato’, with which Snaitech colleagues offer moments of fun in the run-up to the Christmas holidays, we contribute to creating welcoming environments and new opportunities for growth for the boys and girls who live in the centres supported by the Fondazione Rava in the cities of Milan, Rome, Florence and Empoli. Fondazione Francesca Rava, founded in 2000, in Italy represents N.P.H. “Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos” (Our Little Brothers), an international humanitarian organisation that helps children in need.

#BeSafeInSport
In partnership with ChangeTheGame, we have set up the first psychological counselling centre for athletes who have been victims of abuse and violence at La Sapienza University in Rome. Located in the University’s Psychology Department, this space offers free psychological support to athletes, enabling them to meet experienced professionals and embark on a path of inclusion and growth. This initiative aims to promote a safe, respectful and inclusive sporting environment where every athlete can feel protected and valued. ChangeTheGame is the first Italian association of volunteers that fights against all forms of sexual, emotional and physical violence in sport.

In play for the future
In partnership with the Fondazione Milan and Fondazione Costruiamo il Futuro, we have built a new football field at the Oratorio della Madonna dei Poveri in Baggio, on the western outskirts of Milan. The new pitch, built in less than 150 days, is now a safe and welcoming place for children to grow, have fun and play sport. Thanks to this project, we have given back to the community an essential meeting place for the whole area. Always by the side of the Fondazione Costruiamo il Futuro, since 2018 we have participated every year in the prize of the same name, an initiative that supports, through small contributions, sports associations in the Milan area that work every day to make sport a fundamental tool for social inclusion and growth for those in vulnerable situations.

An olympic project
CUS Propatria Milano is one of the oldest and most awarded athletics clubs in our country, but we are aware that this great sport often suffers from a lack of funds compared to more prestigious disciplines. In 2024, the Snaitech Foundation supported 5 young CUS athletes through scholarships, contributing to their sports development and university education. Among the beneficiaries are also two promising four-hundred-metre runners who had the honour of representing Italy at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Our acts for the Planet
We care not only about people and communities, but also about what we all share: our Planet. That is why we support projects that involve our colleagues in plastic and waste collection, reforestation and biodiversity initiatives. We do this with two exceptional partners. With Plastic Free, an association that is a point of reference in Italy in the fight against plastic pollution and environmental protection, we have intervened in the cities of Milan, Rome and Lucca through the WE CARE UN SACCO campaign to help clean up green spaces near our offices.
Together with Rete Clima, a technical partner active in sustainability and decarbonization initiatives, we launched the “PIANTALA! Più persone creano un cambiamento. Più alberi fanno una foresta», with which we have planted over 3,000 trees.
