History, passion and art: Snaifun’s tribute to Milan’s 125th anniversary at the Snai San Siro Racecourse

Pictures tell the story of Milan’s 125 years, set in the splendid setting of the Snai San Siro Racecourse. A work of art that combines passion, history and sports culture, just a few hundred metres from the Meazza stadium, home of Milanese football. A project shared with the fans to celebrate the deep bond that the club born in Via Berchet has with the city.

The mural that celebrates the history of Milan, created by the Milanese artistic collective Orticanoodles, was born from the solid collaboration between the Rossoneri Club and SNAIFUN, Snaitech’s app dedicated to the promotion of sports culture. Thanks to a survey launched last October on Milan and Snaifun’s social, fans were given the opportunity to choose the subject of the work from among several proposed sketches. This is how “A Team of Devils” was born: a visual story where symbols, characters and iconic places intertwine with the values that have always characterized AC Milan: passion, inclusivity and universality.

At the centre of the 20 metres long and 3 metres high mural is the founder Herbert Kilpin accompanied by the famous phrase quote “We will be a team of devils. Our colours will be red like fire and black like the fear we will instil in our opponents!”. At Kirbin’s sides, we have the red and black players and the fans. The last two sections, at the ends of the work, depict the places that every Milan fan, in these 125 years of history, has considered “home”: the Fiaschetteria Toscana where it all began in 1899; Casa Milan, home of the Club since 2014 and, of course, the San Siro Stadium, the theatre of success and memorable undertakings. In the background of the work, the Milan skyline witnesses the belonging to the city of both AC Milan, which bears its name, and Snaitech, Premium Partner of the Rossoneri Club with the SNAIFUN brand.

The mural can be visited free of charge every day at the Snai San Siro Racecourse, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., until the end of the 2024/25 football season with entry from Piazzale dello Sport 6, Milan.
