There are moments when commitment takes shape through people’s actions. This is what happened throughout 2025, with a series of corporate volunteering initiatives that saw colleagues from Snai, Sisal and PokerStars — brands within the Flutter SEA (Southern Europe & Africa) region — actively engaged together. Guided by shared values such as collaboration, responsibility and care for people and local communities, these initiatives turned volunteering into a tangible, inclusive experience.
A total of 11 events were held across Italy, involving more than 670 colleagues united by a shared desire to dedicate their time and energy to projects capable of generating a meaningful and lasting impact.
The first initiative took place on World Environment Day in partnership with Plastic Free. Employees from Snai, Sisal and PokerStars took part in clean-up and regeneration activities in urban green areas across several Italian cities, including Milan, Rome, Lecco and Naples, contributing to environmental protection and raising awareness about plastic pollution.
In collaboration with Rise Against Hunger Italia — an organisation committed to combating hunger and malnutrition — more than 112,000 food rations were packed. These will provide a year’s worth of meals for 520 children in Sub-Saharan Africa. The events were held in Milan at the Snai San Siro Racecourse, as well as in Rome and Montecatini Terme, where the initiative was hosted at the Snai Sesana Racecourse.
Sport became a powerful tool for connection through the partnership with Special Olympics Italia and the #PlayUnified initiative. In Lucca, Rome and Castellanza, athletes from Special Olympics Italia shared the field with volunteers, taking part together in a range of sports — from football and basketball to padel and fencing. These moments fostered inclusion, challenged stereotypes and celebrated diversity, creating a truly meaningful shared experience.
All initiatives are part of the global “Do More Together” campaign and align with Flutter’s broader Positive Impact Plan — the Group’s global sustainability strategy aimed at generating positive outcomes for people, communities and the environment through concrete, participatory and long-term projects.
